Getting Started
What is Kreativ Ink?▾
Kreativ Ink is an AI-powered creative platform that lets you generate images and videos using state-of-the-art generative AI models. Simply type a text prompt, choose your settings, and our AI creates the content for you.
Do I need an account to use Kreativ Ink?▾
Yes, you need to create a free account to generate content. Signing up is quick — you can use email or social login. Free accounts receive 100 credits per month.
What AI models are available?▾
We offer a curated selection of leading AI models for both image and video generation. The available models are listed on the generation page, each with different strengths, speeds, and credit costs.
What's the difference between free and paid plans?▾
Free users get 100 credits per month for personal, non-commercial use. Paid plans (Starter, Creator, Professional) provide larger monthly credit allocations, credit rollover, commercial usage rights, and higher generation limits. Visit the Pricing page for a full comparison.
Credits & Billing
What are credits?▾
Credits are used to generate content on Kreativ Ink. Each generation costs a certain number of credits depending on the model, resolution, and other parameters. Your credit balance is displayed in the top navigation bar.
How many credits do I get?▾
Free users receive 100 credits per month (reset on the 1st of each month). Paid plans receive monthly allocations: Starter gets 1,000, Creator gets 2,500, and Professional gets 6,000 credits per billing cycle.
Do unused credits roll over?▾
Yes! For paid subscribers, unused credits roll over to the next billing period. There is a soft cap of 2× your plan's monthly allocation. If your balance exceeds this cap at renewal, no new credits are added — but your existing balance is never reduced. Once your balance drops below the cap, renewal grants resume.
What happens if I upgrade my plan?▾
Upgrades take effect immediately. You receive the difference between your new plan's credit allocation and what you've already been granted this billing period. For example, if you upgrade from Starter (1,000 credits) to Creator (2,500 credits), you'll receive 1,500 additional credits right away. Stripe charges a prorated amount for the remainder of your billing cycle. You can upgrade through the Stripe Customer Portal (avatar menu → Manage Subscription).
What happens to my credits when I downgrade?▾
When you downgrade, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle — not immediately. You keep your full credit balance until then. At renewal, you'll receive the lower plan's monthly credit allocation instead. Your existing balance is never reduced by a downgrade. For example, if you're on Creator (2,500/month) with 1,800 credits remaining and downgrade to Starter (1,000/month), you keep your 1,800 credits. At next renewal, your balance will increase by up to 1,000 (subject to the 2× soft cap of 2,000 for Starter).
How do I cancel my subscription?▾
You can cancel anytime through the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from the user menu in the top-right corner (click your avatar → "Manage Subscription"). Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then.
Can I get a refund?▾
Every refund request is reviewed individually by our team. Refunds are typically granted for technical failures, non-delivery of credits, or duplicate charges. If you recently subscribed and changed your mind, reach out to us — we'll do our best to find a fair outcome. See our Refund Policy for full details.
My credits weren't refunded for a failed generation▾
In most cases, credits for failed generations are automatically returned to your balance. If you notice a deduction without a successful result, please wait a few minutes — refunds can sometimes take a moment to process. If the credits still haven't been returned, contact [email protected] with the approximate time and prompt you used, and we'll investigate.
I've run out of credits — what can I do?▾
If you're on the free tier, your 100 monthly credits reset at the start of each calendar month. For more credits, consider upgrading to a paid plan. If you're already on a paid plan, you can upgrade to a higher tier for a larger monthly allocation. Any unused credits from your current balance carry over.
Do my free monthly credits expire?▾
Yes — free monthly credits reset (not accumulate) at the start of each calendar month. If you don't use them, they don't roll over. Paid plan credits, on the other hand, do roll over each billing cycle up to the soft cap.
Generation & Content
Who owns the content I generate?▾
Paid subscribers own the intellectual property rights to their generated content. Free-tier users receive a personal, non-commercial license. See our Terms of Service for full details.
Can I use generated content commercially?▾
Yes, if you are on a paid plan. Paid subscribers may use their generated content for commercial purposes, subject to our Terms of Service. Free-tier content is limited to personal, non-commercial use.
Why did my generation fail?▾
Generations can occasionally fail due to content safety filters, temporary service issues, or model capacity constraints. If a generation fails, the credits are typically not deducted from your balance. If you experience persistent failures, please contact support.
What content is not allowed?▾
You may not generate content that is illegal, harmful, hateful, violent, sexually explicit involving minors, or that infringes on others' rights. Our AI models have built-in safety filters, and accounts that repeatedly violate our Acceptable Use policy may be suspended.
Why didn't my generation follow my prompt exactly?▾
AI models interpret prompts creatively and may not produce a literal match every time. Try being more specific, adding detail, or rewording your prompt. Different models also have different strengths — experimenting with another model can sometimes yield better results.
My generation was rejected by the content policy — why?▾
Our AI models include built-in content safety filters. If your generation was rejected, it likely triggered one of these filters. Try adjusting your prompt to avoid potentially sensitive keywords or themes. If you believe the rejection was a mistake, contact support.
My video is taking a long time — is something wrong?▾
Video generation is significantly more resource-intensive than images and can take anywhere from 30 seconds to several minutes depending on the model, duration, and current demand. Your request is queued and processed in order. If a video takes more than 10 minutes, it may have encountered an issue — try generating again.
Why doesn't my video have audio?▾
Most video generation models currently produce visual-only output without audio. Audio generation is an emerging capability that we plan to support as models evolve. For now, you can add audio to your generated videos using a separate editing tool.
Account & Privacy
How is my data protected?▾
We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS encryption, Row Level Security on our database, and JWT-based authentication. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I delete my account?▾
Yes. Contact us at [email protected] to request account deletion. We will remove your account data within 30 days, except for billing records we are legally required to retain.
Do you use my prompts to train AI models?▾
No. We do not use your generation prompts or outputs to train AI models.
Can I change my email or username?▾
Username changes can be made from your profile settings via the avatar menu. For email changes, please contact [email protected] from your current registered email and we will update it for you.
